SK was founded in 1994 with the creation of the FZ style knife gate valve for service in a Coalfired power plant. Not long after the shipment of this first valve (just six short months, to be exact), SK saw the additional shipment of 22 more valves into this same power plant for Severe Duty Service. Since this time, over 10,000 valves have been crafted by our experienced artisans and delivered into hundreds of facilities throughout the world.
